My goal in working on guitar amplifiers is to ensure reliability for home and professional use, while maintaining the original integrity of the amp as much as possible. I specialize in tube guitar amplifiers, but will take on solid state amp repair when time allows.

Shop Info and General Policies
To book an appointment please email me with information about what type of amp you have, what issues it is having, and any known history of prior work done or troubleshooting that has been attempted in an effort to get it working. It is also helpful for me to know your goals with the amp (Do you need to prioritize reliability or maintaining as many original components as possible etc.)
I am currently limiting my intake to primarily vintage tube amps but depending on workload am open to repair of modern tube amps, solid state amplifiers, guitar pedals, electric pianos, synthesizers, and pro audio gear.
I take an $80 deposit (per amp) upon drop off, which goes towards the repair cost at the end. The deposit will be invoiced via email, and will be due upon drop-off. This is non-refundable unless the amp is picked up before I provide an estimate for repair.
Depending on my workload it can take 2 - 4 weeks to receive a repair estimate after drop-off. If you have a deadline please let me know ahead of time.
My labor rate is $80/hour + parts + tax. Typically, amps are billed for 1.5 - 3 hours of labor depending on the issues and originality of the amp. My minimum charge is $80.
I try to keep total turnaround time at 4 - 6 weeks, but this can be prolonged due to an extensive backlog, difficult/time-consuming restorations, or parts scarcity. Keep in mind that I am one person, and I treat each amp like my own. It can take hours (or days) to get an amp in its best shape.
Upon completion, you will receive an invoice via email. Payment is due within 24 hours or prior to pickup of your amp, whichever comes first. After 5 days there will be a 3.5% increase per day until the invoice is paid.
Once I notify you that your amp complete, please pick it up within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in a $10/day storage fee. If you are out of town or are unable to pick up within the 10 day window please let me know!
If you do not pick up your amp within 45 days of completion it will become property of Technology Enterprises.
I warranty my work for 90 days, so if anything comes up after the repair please let me know!
